About the position
Primary duty is to perform Pull tests, Crimp Heights, High Pot tests; operate harness test fixtures, etc.
Conduct tests to determine the quality of materials for receiving products
Tests functional performance of assemblies, and parts under specified conditions for in-process inspections
Perform OBA (Out of Box Audits), when required.
Inspect shipping documentation and parts for ship release
Maintains a clean and safe working environment in line with company policy.
Maintains reliable and regular work attendance.
Understanding and adherence to the Safety Codes of manufacturing.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School or GED; Minimum 3 years’ experience in electrical manufacturing field.
Crimping and Soldering Inspection experience
Basic knowledge of ANSI Std. IPC/WHMA-A-620 for Cable and Harness manufacturing
Able to use Microsoft applications and ability to learn new computer programs/applications
Knowledge in how to read schematics and wirelists.
Must be able to read engineering documentation and inspect to drawings and parts lists, inspection plans, and supplemental instructions
Previous experience in either fabricating or inspecting cable wire assemblies
Preferred Qualifications: – Working knowledge of Measurelink database is a plus
LANGUAGE and SKILLS
Basic English comprehension and reading skills.
Basic Math skills.
Good eyesight (with corrective lenses if necessary) and manual Dexterity.
